SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl: Nebraska v Utah
Cornhuskers and Utes to Meet for First Time in 33 years
LAS VEGAS – The SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl will feature No. 15 Utah (10-2/7-2) facing Nebraska (7-5/4-5) on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT (3:30 p.m. ET) on ESPN.
A frequent visitor to Las Vegas, the Utes of the Big 12 Conference will play in the city for the 17th time, counting regular-season and postseason games, and serve as the home team while the Cornhuskers of the Big Ten Conference will appear in the Silver State for the first time and serve as the away team. The Utes bring a 4-2 record in the Las Vegas Bowl, which ties them with Boise State for the most wins in the game’s history.
Nebraska and Utah have met four times, with the Huskers having taken all four games in the series, which started in 1968 and has all taken place in Lincoln. The most recent meeting came in 1992.
